Anne Hagerty Harp Warner

March 1, 1935 — December 8, 2023

Anne Hagerty Harp Warner, 88, of Accakeek Farm, passed away December 8, 2023, following a short illness. She was the daughter of the late Richard Harcourt Hagerty and Katharine Smith Hagerty Mann.  She is survived by her children, Reno Sheffer Harp, IV and his wife Deborah, and Anne Harp Vaeth and her husband Gregory B. Vaeth; two grandchildren, Emily Vaeth Stolle and her husband Ross Stolle, and Gregory Benjamin Vaeth, Jr.; as well as two sisters, Meriwether H. Rumrill and Susannah H. Farley; four nephews and two nieces.

Anne Warner was a graduate of St. Catherine’s School in Richmond, VA., Randolph Macon Women’s College in Lynchburg, VA., and the Delaware Hospital School of Nursing.  She was a member of Daughters of the American Revolution, the Jamestown Society, the Colonial Dames, the Descendants of Knights of the Garter, the Northern Neck Historical Society and the King and Queen Historical Society.  A memorial service will be held at 10.30 a.m. on Saturday, January 20, 2024 at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, Miller’s Tavern, VA.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, P.O. Box 278, Millers Tavern, VA 23115 or to Animal Welfare League of the Northern Neck, P.O. Box 975, White Stone, VA 22578. Faulkner Funeral Homes, Marks-Bristow Chapel is assisting the family.
