Aubrey H. Stokes, Jr., 81, of Dunnsville passed away peacefully at his residence on Tuesday, October 26, 2021. He was a member of Faith Baptist Church and a retired general manager for Boles Parts Supply.

Aubrey is survived by his loving wife Catherine Jean Stokes; three sons Aubrey S. Stokes (Terri) of Wicomico Church, David W. Stokes (Sherry) and D. Wade Stokes (Jennifer) all of Dunnsville; sister Kathleen Bareford (Lindsey) of Tappahannock; half-sister Gladys Sydnor of Tappahannock; two half-brothers, Ronnie Stokes and Donnie Stokes both of Dunnsville; nine grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Thursday, October 28 from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the Faulkner Funeral Homes, Marks-Bristow Chapel, Tappahannock, where the service will begin at 11:00 a.m. Pastor John C. Yeatts will officiate. Interment will follow in the Davis-Stokes Family Cemetery, Dunnsville.
