Bertha Edna Eckert

Bertha Edna Eckert, passed away Monday afternoon April 29, 2024 at the age of 79.   Born on July 3, 1944 in Mt Carmel, PA to the late Bertha (Keown) and Edward Davis. She was surrounded by family.  Bertha, also known as Edna, leaves behind a husband of 45 years Maynard “Smoke” and her daughters Dolly Salamone (late Michael), Rochelle Taschler (Brian) and son James Loconsole. Proceeded in death of Edna was daughter Deborah Smith (Donald “Smitty”) and son Michael Pullium (Antonio “Tony”).  Edna was sister of Dorothy “Dottie” Emory (late John) and Robert Davis (Marion) and Charles Davis. Proceeded in death was sister Sadie Hope Rodenbaugh (late George).  Edna leaves behind granddaughter Sherri May Glassmire and grandsons Dereck Beecher (Jocelyn), Brandon Beecher,  Jacob Taschler, Adam Taschler (Christine), and Dylan Gesullo (Ivy). Great granddaughters Mackenzie Beecher, Julia Beecher, Taylor Beecher, Emberley Gesullo and Sophia Taschler.  Great grandsons Axel Gesullo, Colt Gesullo and Sammy Taschler. 

 A Celebration of Life will be Friday May 17,  2024 at 5pm at Jerusalem UCC, 545 Church Drive, Palmerton, PA. Faulkner Funeral Homes, Bristow-Faulkner Chapel is assisting the family.
