Brenda Clements

Brenda A. Clements, 70, passed away at her home in Dutton, Virginia Saturday, November 14, 2015 with her loving family by her side. Brenda was born December 23, 1944. She was preceded in death by her parents, Willard and Margaret Armistead. She was a lifelong member of Locust Grove United Methodist Church where she played the organ for 54 years. She also taught Sunday School and held many other positions in the church. She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Dicky Clements; two daughters, Christy Moughon (Bernard) and Amy Hudgins (Chris) and four grandchildren, Dale and Hunter Hudgins and Leanne and Jason Moughon; one brother, Charles R. Armistead, Sr. (Betty) and many nieces, nephews and cousins. The family will receive friends on Monday, November 16, 2015 from 6 – 8 pm at Foster-Faulkner Funeral Home, Mathews, Virginia. A Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, November 17, 2015 at 11:00 am in Locust Grove United Methodist Church, Dutton, Virginia with burial to follow in the Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Brenda's memory to Locust Grove UM Church, 1832 Windsor Rd, Dutton, VA 23050 or to the Mathews Vol. Fire Dept., P.O. Box 1130, Mathews, VA 23109.
