Brittany Lena Hudgins

Brittany Lena Hudgins, 28, of Mathews, Virginia, passed away on Monday, May 25, 2026. She was born on September 20, 1997. Brittany grew up in Mathews County and graduated from Mathews High School in 2015. She lived with her mother and father, where she spent 28 beautiful years. Brittany was known as a strong-minded and full-hearted young lady. She worked at the old Mathews Thrift Store. She also attended the Del Sol day program, where she met so many fantastic friends and a loving community.

Brittany is survived by her mother, Vicky Hudgins; father, James Hudgins; sister, Charity Hudgins; brother-in-law, Mikey Henshaw; and an abundance of aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, June 20, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. at Macedonia Baptist Church, 524 East River Road, Foster, Virginia 23056. Pastor Edward Harrow will officiate. Faulkner Funeral Home, Foster-Faulkner Chapel is assisting the family.
