Courtice Wilkinson

Courtice Temple Wilkinson, Jr., 85, of Hudgins, Virginia passed away on Thursday, December 22, 2022 at his home. He was a member of Spring Hill Baptist Church. He was a life member of the American Legion, a member of the American Institute of Architects and a U.S. Army veteran.

He attended the University of Richmond and received an architectural certificate from VCU. He was a member of AIA and worked for Gordon Galusia Architecture, Carl Morris and Virginia Power. Afterwards, he went into business for himself. He loved to golf, fish, bowl and square dance.

He is survived by his wife, Catherine Wilkinson; two daughters, Sheri Wolfe and Donna Davidson; a son, Courtice Temple Wilkinson III; grandchildren, Tyler Wolfe, Zachary Wolfe, Joshua Wolfe, Austin Leighton and Garrett Leighton; and a great-grandchild, Ella Wolfe.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 27, 2022 at H. C. Smither Memorial Cemetery, Hudgins, Virginia. Faulkner Funeral Homes, Foster-Faulkner Chapel, Mathews, Virginia is assisting the family.
