Dama May Williams, 78, of Stafford, Virginia, passed away on Wednesday, April 1, 2026. She was preceded in death by her parents, Tildon and Eva May Brown; her special aunt and uncle, Marshall and Myra Studds, who raised her and played a significant role in shaping her life, and her sister, Barbara Seay.

 She is survived by her son, Brian Brown, of Winchester, Virginia, daughter, Suzanne Williams of Stafford, Virginia, son, Alvin Douglas Williams Jr., of Warsaw, Virginia; her brother, Wayne Studds (Toni) of Alexandria, Virginia; seven grandchildren, Ashley Sauer, Daniel Williams, Dustin Deavers, James Harrison, Madalynn Williams, Marshall Williams, and Tristan Williams; nine great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

 The family will receive friends at Faulkner Funeral Home, Marks-Bristow Chapel, 206 N. Church Lane, Tappahannock, VA, 22560 on Wednesday, April 8th, 2026 from 1-3:00 p.m. A celebration of life service will follow at 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be private. Thank you to the administration and staff at Dockside Nursing and Rehab of Locust Hill, Va that took such great care of Dama the last two years.
