David Wilcox

David Tripp Wilcox, age 89, of Deltaville, VA, passed away Thursday, February 23, 2023. He was born on December 30, 1933, in Torrington, Connecticut to the late Gerald and Dorothy Wilcox. David proudly served his country as a member of the United States Navy. Mr. Wilcox was a very active and dedicated member in leadership roles formerly at St. Martin’s Church in Richmond, Virginia and currently serving Christ Church Parish (Episcopal) in Saluda.

David was the owner and operator of H&M Parts Warehouse of Va., Inc for over 30 years. In his spare time, he enjoyed motorsports, engine building, boating on the Chesapeake Bay, spending time with his family and traveling the world with his wife. Some of the most memorable trips being Ireland, Italy, and the Grand Canyon.

Mr. Wilcox is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Anne Wilcox; son, David Tripp Wilcox II (Christine); daughters, Catherine Wilcox, Dorothy Bradford, Deborah Crowder (Timothy) and Susan Armstrong (Robert); grandchildren, Robert Martino, Sarah Bradford, Gabrielle Bradford, Anthony Wilcox, Jil Davis and Taylor Johnson and 5 great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his grandson, Adam Bradford; three brothers and one sister.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 P.M. Thursday, March 2, 2023, at Christ Church Parish (Episcopal) with the Rev. Stuart Wood officiating. Interment will follow in Christ Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Wednesday, March 1, 2023, at Faulkner Funeral Homes, Bristow-Faulkner Chapel, Saluda.
