Demi Kay Bailey, 29, of Richmond, Virginia, passed away on April 2, 2026 at VCU Medical Center. Her passing leaves a deep void in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

Demi loved fishing, being a devoted dog mom to her beloved dog Malu, spending time with her fiancé Taylor, and being a loving aunt to her niece and nephews.

Demi will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her family and friends. Her memory will live on in the stories shared, the love she gave, and the lives she touched.

Demi is survived by her mother, Susan Bailey and her father, Frank Bailey; sister, Samantha Thomas; niece, Charlotte Thomas; nephews, Alexander and Sebastian Thomas; aunt, Melva Dibble; fiancé, Taylor Smiley; and her dog Malu Smiley.
