Donald Ray Cumberland, 90, of Deltaville, Virginia, passed away on Tuesday, July 13, 2021.
He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps and an avid hunter, fisherman, and family man. He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Cumberland; and his brother, Glen Cumberland.
He is survived by four sons; Donald Cumberland, Jr. (Barbara), Michael Cumberland (Laura), John David Cumberland (Kathy), and Mark Cumberland (Cathy); his grandchildren, Emily, Becky, Carli, Amy, Caitlin, Cameron, Ben, Luke, and Will; and several great and great-great grandchildren and his sister, Janet George.
At Don’s request, no formal services will be held, but a celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to United Methodist Family Services, (1320 Central Park Blvd, Suite 310, Fredericksburg, VA 22401). Faulkner Funeral Homes, Bristow-Faulkner Chapel, Saluda, is assisting the family with arrangements.
