Donald Wells

Donald “Don” Wells, of Tappahannock, VA passed away on Tuesday, August 2, 2022. He was a member of Center Cross Church of God. Don also served our country in the Army, was a member of the American Legion Post 144 in Springfield, and also a member of the Moose Lodge in Tappahannock. He was a loving husband, devoted Dad, and doting Papa.

Don was preceded in death by his wife, Dolores R. Wells; brothers, Larry G. Wells and Earl Wells.

Don is survived by his children, Donald Ray Wells, Darlene Hamm of Melbourne, FL, Jeffrey Ty Wells of Tappahannock, and Angel Chlebo of Bowling Green; Grandchildren; Lauren Wells, Brandon Wells, Jeffrey Wells, II, Chelsea Murphy, Katherine Chlebo, Heather Chlebo and Donovan Chlebo, Dawn Elmer and Jeremy Jenkins; and a number of great-grandchildren.; sisters, Reva Krammer and Wanda Kellam; and one brother, Ronnie Wells.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 10, 2022 from 6-8:00 p.m. at Faulkner Funeral Homes, Marks-Bristow Chapel, Tappahannock. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 11, 2022 at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Essex Cemetery.
