Donna Lee Peel, a beloved wife, mother, and cherished member of the community, passed away peacefully at her home on April 25, 2026. Born on October 16, 1953, in Richmond, Virginia, Donna's life was marked by warmth, devotion, and a deep connection to the natural world.

Donna’s gentle spirit was reflected in the simple joys she treasured. She found delight in watching hummingbirds flit about with effortless grace and took great pleasure in collecting shells during visits to the beach, each one a tiny treasure that mirrored her quiet appreciation for life's delicate beauty. These hobbies, simple yet profound, were emblematic of her loving and thoughtful nature.

A pillar in her community, Donna was a proud member of Howerton's Baptist Church. Her faith was a cornerstone of her existence and brought her strength and comfort throughout her journey. She lived her life with kindness and grace, always ready to offer support and a comforting presence to those around her.

Donna is survived by her devoted husband, Jeffrey William Peel, and her loving son, Alexander J. Collier. She also leaves behind cherished sisters, Betty Timozek and Patricia Lynn Gregory, who held her close in their hearts. These dear souls were a constant source of love and companionship, sharing in the many moments that defined Donna’s life.

Her family legacy is touched with the memory of those who have gone before her: her father, John Hershell Watson Sr., her mother, Mary Minter, her brother, John Hershell Watson Jr., and sister, Nancy DeWolf. Though they have passed, their spirits continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved them.
