Dorothy Jane Libassi

Dorothy Jane Libassi, 93, of Mathews, Virginia, passed away quietly on Sunday, May 31, 2026. She was born in New York on February 27, 1933, to Antonio and Maria Manuppelli.

She was predeceased by her husband, Jerome J. Libassi, and a son, Steven Libassi.

Dorothy is survived by her daughter, Lisa Libassi; sons, Thomas Libassi, Paul Libassi, and Mike Libassi; nine grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 18, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at the Church of Francis de Sales, Mathews. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hands Across Mathews, 10878 Buckley Hall Road, P.O. Box 1303, Mathews, Virginia 23109. Faulkner Funeral Homes, Foster-Faulkner Chapel, Mathews is assisting the family.
