Edward Jackson “Ed” Fleming, 81, of Dutton, Virginia passed away on Monday, October 28, 2024. He was retired from Newport News Shipbuilding & Dry Dock with several years of dedicated service. Ed was an avid fisherman.
He was predeceased by his wife, Eva Fleming and his daughter, Susan.
He is survived by two sons, Paul Gibson and Michael Gibson (Rita); five grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, November 1, 2024, at 3:00 p.m. in Windsor Gardens Cemetery, Dutton, Virginia. Faulkner Funeral Homes, Foster-Faulkner Chapel, Mathews is assisting the family.
