Elizabeth Ann Chenowith

Elizabeth Ann “Betty” Chenowith, 80, of Deltaville, passed away on Wednesday, June 5, 2024. She was a faithful member of Clarksbury United Methodist Church.  Mrs. Chenowith attended Eastern High School in Baltimore. During her working career she was a Quality Assurance Coordinator for McCormick Spice Company. Betty was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary Volunteer Rescue Squad at Lower Middlesex for 20 years.

Mrs. Chenowith is survived by her loving husband, James L. Chenowith; children, James L. Chenowith Jr. and Sandra Meadowcroft (Patrick); grandchildren, Shelby Cimino (Andrew), Katie Eggleton (Tyler), Patrick C. Meadowcroft, James L. Chenowith III, Liesl Chenowith; great grandchildren, Sadie Eggleton and Hannah Eggleton.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 14^th, 2024, at Clarksbury United Methodist Church with Rev. Ken Cleveland officiating. Interment will follow in Philippi Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 13^th, 2024, at Bristow-Faulkner Funeral Home. 

In lieu of flowers, the family suggest that donations be made in Betty’s name to the National Kidney Foundation, 30 East 33rd Street, New York, New York, 10016.
