Genea Duck

Genea Duck, 58, of Philipsburg, Pennsylvania, gained her wings on Saturday July 3rd, 2021.

Genea was born on May 11, 1963 to the late Eugene Ripple and Elsie Palm.

Genea is survived at home by her husband Wayne E. Duck. Daughters; Jamie Wilson, Virginia Duck (Joe), and sons; Brandon Wilson (Rose Tracy), and Jeremy Duck (Katie). Genea also has 8 grand children; Bentley Weaver, Hannah Gassner, Olivia Gassner, Rebecca Gassner, Parker Imler, Jeremiah Reynolds, Hunter Butler, and Aryabella Wilson.

Genea married her best friend Wayne on November 14th, 2007. Together they spent the last 13.5 years making beautiful memories and a beautiful life together.

Christmas was Genea's favorite holiday. Every year she would put on an amazing get together for her whole family. She would spend months getting ready and planning for her big day.

Genea enjoyed gardening, sitting around the fire, listening to music, singing, and dancing. Nothing got her more excited than going for a motorcycle ride with her husband.

The motorcycle (Stella) was Genea's pride and joy. She was thrilled at any moment to know she was going to hop on and go. Her favorite place to go was Virginia Beach. They took an annual trip on Stella the last week of June every year. She enjoyed nothing more than going to the beach with her husband and family.

Genea was a beautiful, vibrant soul. She was always there with a helping hand when someone needed it. She called her children's friends her children. Protected them and watched them grow up and create their own families. There wasn't anything Genea wouldn't do for someone if she could.

Genea spent the last 12 years as a Care Coordinator for HomeWatch Caregivers of State College, Pennsylvania. She touched so many lives and helped so many people through her work. Genea was fully dedicated to her job, and always went above and beyond for those who were in need.

Genea will be missed dearly by everyone who knew and loved her.
