Gloria Horton

Gloria Oliver Horton, 81, of Tappahannock passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 20, 2021. She was a member of Nomini Baptist Church, Montross and worked in retail sales for over 40 years . She was preceded in death by her husband Robert L. Horton and a grandson, John Robert “JT” Thomas.

Gloria is survived by her three daughters Karen Horton of Williamsburg, Kelly Williams (Gregg) of Midlothian and Kathy Balderson (Keith) of Tappahannock; one brother Hoke Oliver of Hampton; eight grandchildren Kyle Rose, Matthew Williams, Blake Balderson, Allison Williams, Samantha Rose, Jessica Ayers, Alex Balderson and Drew Balderson; three great-granddaughters Coraline Rose, Juliette Thomas and River Ayers and her devoted caregivers with Riverside Hospice.

A memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday, July 26, 2021 in the Faulkner Funeral Homes, Marks-Bristow Chapel, Tappahannock.
