Gracie O. Willis, age 89, died peacefully at her home on Thursday, February 23, 2012. She was a longtime member of West Point Church of God, and was a wonderful homemaker who loved to care for her family spending many hours cooking, cleaning, baking, and making her house a home. Her life was full of love, hope and purpose, and she will be missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her children, Rickie O. Willis, West Point and Cindy W. Hughes (Jimmy), Mechanicsville; 1 granddaughter Elizabeth C. Willis and two step-grandsons J. T. and Jacob Hughes. Funeral services will be held 3 PM Saturday at West Point Church of God. Interment New Hope United Methodist Church Cemetery, Gloucester. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Saturday. A special thank you to Hospice of Central Virginia and her two loving caregivers, Susan Hudnall and Dorothy Perry.
