Harold Leinbach

Memorial Service for Harold O. Leinbach, 87, of Mollys Way, Urbanna, VA, originally of Reading, PA, will be held at the Urbanna United Methodist Church on Tuesday, February 28, 2012 at 11:00 Am. Burial will be private.

Leinbach, former president of Bob White Quality Frosted Foods, in Reading, PA, died February 24, 2012 at home with his family.

Mr. Leinbach served in WWII and was a member of several organizations and sat on several boards and committees which included the Oberlaender Foundation, the Restaurant Association of Berks County and Pennsylvania, Schuylkill River Power Squadron, the Washington Library and Long time Penn State Alumni. Following retirement he moved to Urbanna, VA and pursued his love of sailing and boating. He attended the Urbanna United Methodist Church.

Born in Reading, PA, Leinbach was a son of the late Harold M. Leinbach and Dorothy (Oberlaender) Leinbach. He was predeceased by his first wife, Margaret Ann (Towson) Leinbach in 1996, his second wife, Margaret (Lively) Leinbach in 2003, a brother Gus O. Leinbach and a sister Jean L Breitinger Zeimer. He is survived by a longtime companion Barbara Borkey, by a daughter Ann L. Heller, of Urbanna, VA; a son, Peter T. Leinbach, of Buford, GA; 3 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; a brother, Richard Leinbach of Watchung, NJ and a sister, Greta Smith, of Spring Township, PA.
