Harold E. Wilhelm Jr., born March 25, 1939, in Elizabeth, PA., passed away on February 5, 2026.
Harold was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Lavina Wilhelm; a brother, Ronald Wilhelm; a grandson, Nicholas Monaghan; and his beloved wife, Christel Wilhelm.
He is survived by his son, Kenny (Debby) of Sebastian, Florida; his daughter, Karen (Brad) Dalton, of Virginia Beach; his grandchildren, Kasey, Taylor, Tyler, and a great grandson Buxton Monaghan.
Harold raised his family in Old Church, VA and spent many years as a truck driver, a profession that reflected who he was at his core – dependable, hardworking, and always willing to go the distance. After retiring from DuPont, Harold enjoyed the pleasures of The Chesapeake Bay, as a waterman and settled into a life in Deltaville, VA.
Those who knew Harold will remember him for his steady presence, resilience, and the quiet ways he showed his love- more through actions than words. His life was rooted in family, hard work and simple joys, and his memory will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to meet him.
