Henry Malcome Jett Jr.

Henry Malcome Jett, Jr., 70, of Lancaster, passed away peacefully on October 20, 2024. He is survived by his wife, Connie Kimmel Jett; his daughter, Dr. Scarlett Jett; and his sisters, Bessie Sawdy, Rebecca George, Betty Crandall, and Linda Ketner and their families. He was preceded in death by his father, Henry Malcome Jett, Sr.; his mother, Margaret Haynie Jett; and his sister, Margaret Ann Bush.

Henry served his community as Postmaster at the Reedville Post Office. His career also included roles as Postmaster in Ewing, Virginia; Sunset, Texas; Edgartown, Martha's Vineyard, Massachusetts; Merry Point, Virginia; and Nuttsville, Virginia. He was a member of White Marsh Church.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association in Henry’s memory. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
