Howard William Holman, Jr.

Howard William “Bill” Holman, Jr., 85, of Calabash, North Carolina, passed away on Wednesday, May 7, 2025. He was born on May 12, 1939, in Elizabethton, Tennessee. He served in the U. S. Army from September of 1956 until May of 1959. After serving his country, he worked as a carpet installer and car salesman. His passion was playing golf.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia C. Holman, and his stepson, John Stephen Mickelborough.

He is survived by his stepdaughters, Melanie J. Farmer (Blaine) and Christy M. Brownley (Dalton), and four step-grandchildren.

A private graveside service will be held at Gwynn’s Island Cemetery. Faulkner Funeral Homes, Foster-Faulkner Chapel, Mathews, is assisting the family.
