Irmgard "Irma" Richardson

Irmgard Anna Richardson “Irma,” 90, of Newport News, Virginia, born October 17, 1934, passed away on Friday, January 3, 2025. 

After graduating high school in Dudeldorf, Germany, she married Lindsay H. Booher and then became a naturalized U.S. citizen. She worked at and retired from NASA Langley Research Center, and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Richardson, and her brother, Werner Mares (Meta). 

She is survived by her sons, Lindsay Booher (Patricia) and Ron Booher (Rosita). 

An interment will take place at a later date at Arlington National Cemetery. Faulkner Funeral Home, Marks-Bristow Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
