James Hazel

James H. Hazel of Jamaica, VA died Thursday, November 12, 2015. He was born in Woodstock, Ontario, Canada on August 31, 1935, the third son of William B. and Agnes M. Hazel. He was a graduate of the Woodstock Collegiate Institute and the Ontario College of Art Design, Toronto. In 1990, he retired after 22 years, from the Architecture and Construction Department of the Marriott Corp., Bethesda, MD. He is survived by three nephews and six nieces. He was preceded in death by two brothers, William B. Hazel III of Bowie, MD and Robert M. Hazel of Clearwater, FL. A funeral mass will be held 11a.m., Monday, November 23, 2015 in the Church of the Visitation, Topping, with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends beginning at 9a.m. prior to the service at the church.
