Jean Stone Duke Hammond, 89, of Tappahannock, Virginia passed away on May 1st, 2022. Jean is survived by her loving husband of 72 years, William R. Hammond; sons, Willard Hammond (Sheila), Leslie Hammond, Richard Duke Hammond (Lynn); and two grandchildren. She was a longtime member of Beale Memorial Baptist Church. A gathering of friends and family will be held at Beale Memorial Baptist Church on Tuesday, May 10, 2022 from 2-4:00 p.m. Interment will be private. Faulkner Funeral Homes, Marks-Bristow Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
