Jeanette Johnson Langford

Jeanette Johnson Langford, age 79, of Church View, Virginia, was born on November 25, 1946, and passed away on Saturday, October 31, 2026.

She will be remembered for her great love of her Lord, her family and her dear friends.

Jeanette was predeceased by her loving husband of 53 years, Charles Elvin Langford, Jr.; her parents, Elvin Leland Johnson and Mabel Trimmer Johnson; and one great grandchild Layla.

She is survived by her son, Charles “Tom” Langford (Lisa); daughter, Barbara Chandler; four grandchildren, Kristal Reiner (Bo), Jenni Uphold (Billy), Ashley Chandler (Edward) and C.J. Chandler; five great-grandchildren, Katelin, Charlie, Bailie, Skylar, Lillian and Jamison.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Wednesday, November 4, 2026, at Hermitage Baptist Church Cemetery, 94 Wares Bridge Rd., Church View. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Hermitage Baptist Church Building Fund, P.O., Box 190, Church View, VA, 23032.
