Jo Carlin

Jo Warren Carlin, 76, of Tappahannock, Virginia passed away on Tuesday, January 11th, 2022. She had many friends; and being the caregiver that she was, she was willing to lend a helpful hand to anyone in need. She and her husband Tom enjoyed their place on the river; from boating to hosting many big parties at their home.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Bobby Hammond and Thomas O’Leary Carlin.

She is survived by her daughter, Robin Lamb (Carey); son, William “Billy” Powers Brizendine; her sisters, Janet Barrack and Jackie Hinson; her brother, Tommy Jones; grandchildren, Carey Scott Lamb (Angie), and Robin Campbell (Justin); great-grandchildren, Grayson and Natalie Campbell; and her beloved dog, Sammy.

A memorial service will be held at Upper King and Queen Baptist Church on Saturday, January, 15th, 2022 at 2:00pm. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The American Lung Association at P.O. Box 11039, Lewiston, ME 04243. Faulkner Funeral Homes, Marks-Bristow Chapel is assisting the family.
