Karla Easley

May 19, 1962 — June 7, 2025

With deep sadness and heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved Karla, who left this world peacefully on June 7, 2025, with her loving sister by her side.

Karla bravely faced Progressive Supranuclear Palsy (PSP), and while this disease took her from us too soon, it brings comfort to know she is now at peace and free from suffering.

Karla was a gentle, kind soul who touched the lives of all who knew her. She had a quiet grace and warmth that drew people in and made them feel at ease. She cherished her family deeply and found true joy in the simple moments shared with those she loved. She is survived by her husband, Dallas Stephen Easley, her treasured son, Shaun R. Inscoe, her stepson, Zackary Stephen Easley, her stepdaughter, Angel Wilson, her stepdaughter, Crystal Wilson, her loving parents,Thomas H. Lankford and Vera G. Lankford, her sister, Teresa L. Lankford, who sat with Karla on her last days and nights talking to her about all the wonderful times they share together, her sister, Alison L. Courtney(Robert Courtney), niece, Meghan A. Cooke, niece, Laurel Bennett(William Bennett), niece, Destin L. Ballard, niece, Sydney A. Ballard, and a great-nephew, Liam Bennett, great-niece, Everleigh Bennett, and many other relatives and many friends— each of whom held a special place in her heart.

Karla loved the beach — not just the view, but the feeling of being there: the calm of the waves, the peace of the breeze, and the beauty of a sunset at the shoreline. She found solace in those quiet moments and shared that love with those close to her. Her faithful cat, Tabby, was a dear companion, and her presence brought comfort and warmth to Karla’s days.

Though we are heartbroken by her loss, we are grateful for every visit, every conversation, and every memory. Karla’s kindness, her laughter, and her gentle spirit will stay with us always.

We miss her deeply — more than words can say — but we will carry her with us in our hearts forever.
