Keith Townsend

Keith E. Townsend, 60, of Urbanna passed away on Friday, June 17, 2022. He retired in 2017 with thirty-one years of service from the the Virginia Department of Transportation. Keith was a member of Urbanna United Methodist Church and a forty plus year member of the Middlesex Volunteer Fire Department in Urbanna. He was the son of the late Zed and Rosie Townsend and was also pre-deceased by a brother, Bobby Townsend.

Keith is survived by his wife, Cheri L. Townsend; daughter, Sarah Hand (Larry); grandsons, Luca and little Larry; granddaughter, Mary and a sister-in-law, Susan Townsend Jones.

There will be a celebration of Keith’s life at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, July 30, 2002 at the Middlesex Volunteer Fire Department, Urbanna. A reception will be followed at the fire house.
