On Friday, July 3rd, 2026, Heaven’s lost angel returned home, Mary Ann Blackmon, with her loved ones beside her.

She was proceeded in death by her mother and father, Olive Gray and Leon Cichorz.

She is survived by her ever loving son, Levi Blackmon; her three wonderful sisters, Bonnie Hammond, Leona Cichorz, and Kimmy Cichorz; her caring niece, Amber Cichorz and her bingo buddy, Chris Strong.

Mary Ann was a loving single mother, who put her son above all else. She sacrificed and worked herself to the bone to provide for her family and beloved friends. She was the kindest soul that people could look to for help in their time of need. She enjoyed sewing, thrifting, watching movies, spending time with her dog Nessie, crafting jewelry, and when she had time, going to bingo. Mary Ann was a one-of-a-kind Mother, woman, and soul who will be missed more and more as time passes.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 11, 2026 at Middlesex Memorial Cemetery, Urbanna.
