Mary L. Bruce

January 21, 1930 — December 13, 2025

Mary Louise Bruce, 95, of Tappahannock, Virginia, passed away on December 13, 2025. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lucian Elvin Bruce; her parents, James and Ella Meador; son, Herbert Lee Perkins, Jr.; daughter, Patricia Perkins Rengnerth; granddaughter, Pamela Dunn Teague; and her three brothers, James, Herman, and George Meador.

She is survived by her daughters, Gayle Dunn, Brenda Hinton, and Barbara Ayers, all of Tappahannock; ten grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 7:00 pm. On Friday, December 19th, 2025 At the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Tappahannock. Burial will take place on Monday, December 22nd 2025 at Signal Hill Memorial Park in Hanover.
