Mary Jean Marshall

Mary Jean Marshall, 84 of Dutton, Va passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Thursday, March 26, 2026.

Jean was a woman whose life was rooted in love, faith, and family.

Jean shared 68 wonderful years of marriage with her devoted husband, Daniel Webster Marshall Jr. Their love stood as a lasting example of commitment, strength, and partnership.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Willard and Myrtle Ewell and her grandson, Travis Lee Marshall.

She leaves behind a beautiful legacy through her children; DW (C’Ann), Billy (Shirley), Christie (Ricky), Penny, and Timmy. Jean was also blessed with a multitude of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren, all of whom brought her immense joy and pride.

She will be remembered for her warm smile, her loving heart, and the way she made everyone feel welcome and cherished. Jean’s presence was a light in the lives of many, and her memory will continue to live on through the family she loved so deeply.

Join the family in celebration on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, at 2:00 pm at The Church of Nazarene, Hudgins, Virginia, with a reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Wounded Warriors and/or Shriners for Kids. Faulkner Funeral Homes, Foster-Faulkner Chapel, Mathews is assisting the family.
