Mattie Ruth Callis, 93, of Mathews, Virginia passed away on Thursday, January 18, 2024. Mattie was a member of Peniel Friends Church.
She is survived by her daughters, A. Faye Carlton (John), Karen C. Hall (Jimmy); a daughter-in-law, Leilani Callis Keiser (David); grandchildren, James Christopher Hall (Suzanne), Jason Hall (Lindsey), Andrea Robins (Chris), John Robert Carlton (Laura), Robert “Robby” Callis Keiser (Christine) and 10 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 23, 2024 from 1 to 2 p.m. at Faulkner Funeral Homes, Foster-Faulkner Chapel, Mathews, Virginia followed by a funeral service in the funeral home chapel at 2 p.m. Burial will follow at H. C. Smither Memorial Cemetery, Hudgins, Virginia.
