Max “Kip” A. Fochtmann, 74, of Gloucester, formerly of Middlesex, passed away on Monday, January 9, 2012. He is survived by his wife Sharon J. Fochtmann; son’s, Tim Fochtmann (Cindy) and Roy Fochtmann (Judy); daughter, Dee Wojtach; son’s, Joseph M. Wojtach and Brian Wojtach; daughter MaryRose Ward; 22 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; sister’s, Grace Aiken and her husband Larry and Ann Reinbott. Kip served as owner and operator of Hartfield Tastee Treat. He was a charter member of the Middlesex Moose Lodge, past administrator of the Gloucester Moose Lodge and also served with the Lower Middlesex Volunteer Rescue Squad. Funeral services will be held 12:00 noon, Saturday, January 14 at Bristow-Faulkner Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Saluda. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Entombment will follow at Windsor Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Abington Volunteer Fire & Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 9, Bena, VA 23018 for their excellent service. Arrangements by Bristow-Faulkner Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Saluda.
