Patricia Ann Butner

Patricia Ann (Harlow) Butner, 78 of Wake, Virginia entered her eternal rest peacefully, surrounded by loved ones on March 10, 2026, after a long illness.

Born in Richmond, Virginia on November 16, 1947, Pat was the daughter of the late Robert Lee Harlow and Daisy Bell (nee Walton) Harlow. She grew up in a close-knit family and developed a lifetime love of fishing and cooking, cultivated by her parents. Pat graduated from Varina High School in 1965. She was an active volunteer in the Auxiliary of Middlesex Volunteer Rescue Squad.

Pat was preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Terri Lynn Jackon, her parents; siblings Brenda Carol Lafoon, Sharon Kay Harlow and Robert L. Harlow, Jr. She is survived by her loving husband of 43 years, Jimmy Butner; her children, Chris Sovine, Butch (Pam) Brockwell and Tracy Lynn Richardson. Pat also leaves her beloved 11 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and her sister Charlotte Ballard.

A celebration of Pat's life will be held April 11, 2026, at 1:00 pm at the Middlesex Volunteer Rescue Squad,17684 General Puller Hwy, Deltaville VA 23043.
