Peggy Rowe

Peggy Kearns Bethel Rowe, 89, of North, Virginia returned to her Heavenly Father on Monday, May 31, 2021. She was a member of Brogden United Methodist Church in Dudley, NC. Peggy delivered Meals on Wheels for many years in Goldsboro, NC and received the Governor’s Award for her service. Momma’s motto was to leave everyone laughing and she always did!

She was preceded in death by her parents, her 5 brothers, and a sister; two husbands, Bob Bethel and Bill Rowe; three sons, Tim, Jim, and John Bethel; two daughters, Carla Bethel and Frances Forshey; a stepson, Tom Rowe; three grandsons, Franklin Forshey, Tim Stanfield and Jeremy Bethel.

She is survived by her beloved Papillion Buddy; two children, Jeannie Marshall (Brooke) in Virginia and a son, Mike Bethel in Florida. She is also survived by two step-sons, David Rowe in Virginia and Richard Rowe (Nining) in Singapore. She was blessed with 7 children, 3 stepsons, 10 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and 9 great-great-grandchildren.

Peggy’s Homecoming will be celebrated on what would have been her 90th birthday in her hometown of Jackson, Ohio.
