Peter Anthony Tancredi, Jr.

Peter Anthony Tancredi, Jr., 62, of Center Cross and Bealeton, passed away on Thursday, June 20th, 2024. Pete loved all things that involved the Yankees and baseball. He enjoyed growing his own vegetables, including tomatoes, peppers and cucumbers and cooking for his friends and family. 

Pete had a passion for working on cars, especially transmissions. He was preceded in death by his parents, Peter A. Tancredi Sr., and Catherine Dingler Tancredi. He is survived by his wife, Tamara L. Tancredi; his son, Anthony Tancredi; his bonus sons, Forest Hritz and Dylan Venable; his daughter-in-law’s, Rachel Tancredi and Sarah Venable; grandchildren, Vivian Tancredi, and Annzleigh Amelia Venable; two sisters, Christina Tancredi Groover (Paul) and Kimberly Tancredi Brown, (JB) and their families including nieces and nephews.

A gathering of family and friends to honor Pete will be held on Saturday, July 13, 2024 from 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. at Faulkner Funeral Homes, Marks-Bristow Chapel, 206 N. Church Lane, Tappahannock, Virginia, 22560. 

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made in Pete’s name to the Essex County Little League, P.O. Box 282, Tappahannock, VA 22560.
