Phyllis Martin

Phyllis Winn Martin, 85, of Warsaw, Virginia, passed away on Saturday, February 10, 2024 peacefully in her sleep. Mrs. Martin was a homemaker and member of Beale Memorial Baptist Church. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She adored her family; her many close friends, and her church. She took special joy in her flower garden, her pets, and giving to others.

Mrs. Martin was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Beale Martin of 47 years; her parents, Sydnor and Mary Winn; and her brother, Tony Winn.

She is survived by her children, Deanna Martin Kiple (Thomas) of Warsaw and Frank Beale Martin III (Heather) of Mechanicsville, VA; four grandchildren, Matthew Thomas Kiple (Katelin), Brady Jackson Martin, Reece Frank Beale Martin, and Reagan Harper Martin; two brothers, Gonjoe C. Winn (Becky) of McKenney, and Calvin S. Winn (Betty), Bruington; sister-in-law, Amelia Winn of Mechanicsville; special double first cousin, Peggy W. Clements of Smithfield; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Friday, February 16, 2024 at Faulkner Funeral Homes, Marks-Bristow Chapel, Tappahannock, from 1-2:00 p.m. The funeral service will immediately follow at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
