Randolph Arthur Munz, 70, of Port Haywood, passed away peacefully at his home on November 18, 2015. Randy was born July 21, 1945 in Roselle, New Jersey, to Arthur and Charlotte Heitmann Munz. He was a member of St. Mary's By the Sea Episcopal Church in Pr. Pleasant, New Jersey. He was a graduate of Roselle High School and Grove City College, Pennsylvania. As a career, Randy was a comptroller for various manufacturing plants in New Jersey and Virginia. He then became a cabinetmaker, including making repairs on Bruce Springsteen's bed! With his wife, Pat, he founded Pat's Deli in Brielle, New Jersey. Upon retirement, the family moved to Mathews, Virginia where Randy started driving carrier trucks for Tatterson's Greenhouses. Randy is survived by his wife, Pat, daughters Sherry Campisano (Joe), Roberta Pyne (Ray), Heather Gregg (Daniel), a son, Randy Munz II (Melissa), 11 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. A memorial service will be held at Christ Episcopal Church at 11:00 am on Saturday, November 21.
