Rodney Ralph Doan

Rodney Ralph Doan was born on November 29, 1937, in Helena, Montana, and passed away peacefully in his home on October 26, 2025. He was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army, serving 21 years and then retiring in Port Haywood, Virginia, in 1976 with the love of his life, Rebecca. He was a member of the St. Paul Comfort Church, where he worshiped with friends for 49 years.

He is survived by his sister, Caroline; his children, Jody, Bobby, Michael, Michael Dale, Robin, and Rex. He has 11 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held Sunday, April 12, 2026, at 2:00 pm at the Friendship Cemetery across from St. Paul Comfort Church, Susan, Virginia 23163. Faulkner Funeral Homes, Foster-Faulkner Chapel, Mathews, is assisting the family.
