Roland Lamar
December 31, 1969 — January 29, 2022
He is preceded in death by his parents, Evelyn and Charles W. Lamar, Sr.; his brother, Charles W. Lamar III; and his mother and father in law, Burton M. Bell and Margaret A. Bell.
He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Linda Lamar; his sons, Roland Lamar, Jr. (Traci) and Paul W. Lindsay; his sisters, Sandy Schnetzer, and Evelyn Pesteridge; grandchildren, Bradley and Megan Lamar; nieces, Joann Lamar and Annette Westhall; nephew, Donnie Lamar; sister-in-law, Brenda Bell Boone (Stephen); brother-in-laws, Earl Bell and Dennis Bell; and many other family members.
A visitation will be held at Faulkner Funeral Homes, Marks-Bristow Chapel, Tappahannock, Virginia on Wednesday, February 2, 2022 from 5-7:00 p.m., with a few words to be spoken about Roland at 6:45 p.m. by Chaplain Dolly Loomis. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, February 3, 2022 at 12 p.m. at Trinity Memorial Gardens in Waldorf, Maryland.
