Roseanna Lynn Ladd

Roseanna Lynn Ladd, age 68, of Waterview, Virginia, transitioned suddenly to be with the Lord on Monday, June 17, 2024. Born in Hyattsville, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Grover and Teresa Ladd.

Rose attended Southern Senior High in Maryland. During her working career, Rose was a truck driver for 30 years. She worked for Warrior Express and JB Hunt, where she achieved a million miles. Rose loved playing softball, bowling and bingo.

She is survived by her sons, Steven C. Lovett (Jeanie) and Robert Lee James Terry Jr. (Crystle); daughter, Teresa L. Williams (Bubba); granddaughters; Whitney Lovett, Ashley Thornsberry and Rocky Terry; grandsons, Gino Deserio, Colby Williams, Dustin Williams, Dylan Lovett; great grandson, Sonny Lansley; brother, Grover M. Ladd and nephew, Clifton W. Ladd Jr.

In addition to her parents, Rose was preceded in death by her grandson; Mason Williams; sister, Brenda Thomas and brother, Clifton Ladd Sr. 

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 13, 2024, at Hermitage Baptist Church with Rev. Edward Harrow officiating. 

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made to Hermitage Baptist Church, 95 Wares Bridge Rd. Church View, VA, 23032.

Faulkner Funeral Homes, Bristow-Faulkner Chapel, is assisting the family.
