Sammy Sue Harmon

Sammy Sue Harmon, 90, of Dunnville, Virginia, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 13, 2025. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Sam Hurt; son, S.C. McCrary; brother, Buddy Hurt; and her sister, Sally Pleasants. 

She is survived by her daughter, Susan Gayle (Wayne); her number one grandson, Ellis Gayle (Rhonda); one great-granddaughter, Savannah Murray; her siblings, William Hurt, Bunny Partridge, and Penny Atkins; and many nieces and nephews, who were very special to her. 

Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 19th at 12:00 p.m. at Faulkner Funeral Home, Marks-Bristow Chapel, Tappahannock, Virginia. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Lebanon United Methodist Church Dunnsville, Virginia.
