Shane Vance Gratton

Shane Vance Gratton, 69, of Tappahannock, Virginia, passed peacefully on Sunday, August 3, 2026. Shane is survived by his loving wife, Theresa P. Gratton (Girardin); daughters, Myra Farrand (Troy) and Chelsae Gratton; mother, Myra Hopkins (Michael); sisters, Terry Holden (Bill) and Tracy Thompson (Julian); Aunt Wendy Sims; Uncles Melvin and Max Sims; Grandchildren Julia, Jillian, Cole, Zoey, and Nova; nieces and nephews, Nellie, Freddie, Heidi, and Jason along with various first and second cousins. He is predeceased by his father Theodore Gratton and his stepfather Peter Brown.

An Initial Celebration of Life will be held at 12:00 p.m. Sunday, August 9, 2026, at 528 Italian-American Restaurant, 528 North Church Lane, Tappahannock, VA in the Marlin Room. A second celebration of life will be held in Connecticut at later date to be announced. Faulkner Funeral Homes, Marks-Bristow Chapel is assisting the family.
