Shirley Mae Schools, 83, of Caret, Virginia passed away on Monday, October 4, 2021.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Gus Melvin Schools, Jr., and her son, Melvin Wayne Schools.
She is survived by her daughter, Nancy Mae Jacobus (David); sons, Michael Lynn Schools (Tammy) and Dennis Ray Schools, siblings, Earl Lee, Betty Noel, and Peggy Shaw; and grandchildren, Donnie, Shannon, Mikey, Kelly, and Olivia; and three great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday, October 9th, 2021 at the Upper Essex Baptist Church Cemetery. Faulkner Funeral Homes, Marks-Bristow Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
