Teresa Lynne Dawson

Teresa Lynne Dawson, 66, of Mechanicsville, passed away on October 11, 2026.

Teresa was a devoted nurse who dedicated her career to caring for others. In her free time, she enjoyed painting, horseback riding, and being a member of a ski club.

Teresa is preceded in death by her beloved parents, Frederick Fletcher Dawson and Lois Stevens Dawson. She is survived by her sister, June Annette Dawson (Lee Martin), numerous cousins, as well as a close-knit group of friends.

A funeral service will follow on October 16, 2026, at 1:00 PM, at Faulkner Funeral Homes, Marks-Bristow Chapel, Tappahannock. The family will receive friends prior to the service, from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm, at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Ephesus Baptist Church Cemetery, Dunnsville.
