Thomas Wade Glaum “Tommy” 61 years of age resided in King William, Virginia. He was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on June 20, 1964, to George J. Glaum Sr. and Phyllis Adams Glaum. Tommy passed on October 25, 2025, in Henrico, Virginia.
He is survived by his nieces and nephews: Stephanie Ann James, Christopher Glaum, Brittany Glaum, Matthew James, and Michael James, as well as two great-nieces, Gia James and Scarlett Prestidge. He was preceded in death by his parents and grandmother Thelma Adams, and his grandfather Eugene Adams.
Tommy was a loving brother to Cheryl Glaum James and George J. Glaum Jr. Tommy had a generous heart and a quiet strength that touched everyone around him. He found joy in simple moments, cherished time with family and friends and loved to drive. He had a great love of music. He loved Lynyrd Skynyrd and way too many other bands to name. If there was one song that best described him it would be the song “A Simple King of Man”. Tommy loved to cook, he was best known for his cheesecakes.
The family extends special gratitude to Jodie Parker and Frank Adams, whose compassion and care meant so much to Tommy and to all who loved him. A memorial service for Tommy will be held on Friday, December 12th, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at Indian View Baptist Church, King William, Virginia
