Thomas Kimball

Thomas Lorenzo Kimball of Mathews, VA, returned to his heavenly home on Friday, August 14, 2015 at the age of 70. Tom struggled through many years of dialysis, supported through a strong belief in God and the support of his family and friends. Tom was blessed by a loving family, born to parents Lorenzo Perry Kimball and Mary Louise Thomas on August 10, 1945 in Richmond, VA. Tom grew up an only child, attended and graduated from Mathews High School in 1963. Tom went on to college in Northern Virginia where he met his wife, Juneda Sue Helm and had two children. Tom is survived by his sons, Matthew Thomas and Robert Andrew; his Ex-wife and friend Juneda; Matthew's wife, Joy Verble and Robert's wife Amanda Darlene. A Graveside Service will be conducted by Minister Danny Campbell and Pastor Dave McKnight at St. Paul Annex, Susan, Virginia on August 22nd. at 2pm, where family and friends are invited to come celebrate the life of Thomas Kimball. The family is grateful for the condolences, in lieu of flowers, the family request donations in Tom's memory be made to the Gwynn's Island Church of the Nazarene, 1009 Cricket Hill Rd., Hudgins, Virginia 23076.
