Warren Morrell

Warren Haddon Morrell, 65, of Hartfield, VA., passed away surrounded by his family on Friday, June 23, 2023. He was the husband of Carol Oliver Morrell.

Mr. Morrell was a member of Zoar Baptist Church, Middlesex Volunteer Fire Department and Member and the 2022-2023 Master of The Donovan Masonic Lodge #75. He was a 1975 graduate of Meadowbrook High School. In his spare time, Warren loved fishing, crabbing, hunting, NASCAR races and was a Denver Bronco fan. He took great joy in flying out to Denver with his son Christopher to attend a game as well as taking him to NASCAR races.

In addition to his wife Carol, he is survived by his son, Christopher Morrell; brother, Mark Morrell (Linda) of Chesapeake, VA; sister, Joan Morrell Horton (Jeff) of Virginia Beach, VA; sister, Ann Marie Hair (Greg) of Chesapeake, VA; niece and nephews, Jess, Jacob, Morgan, Mitchell, Kelsey and Cameron; great nephews, Macon and Jack, who he treated as his grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, June 28, 2023, at Zoar Baptist Church with Pastor John Snow officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggest contributions be made in his name to Lower Middlesex County Fire Department, 16881 General Puller Hwy, Deltaville, VA 23043 or your local SPCA.
