William "Bill" Cauthorn Evans

William “Bill” Cauthorn Evans, 81, of Tappahannock, Virginia, passed away on Wednesday, April 3, 2024.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Marion and Elsie Evans; and his brother, Tyler Evans.
 
He is survived by his wife, Cookie Evans; son, Tyler G. Evans (Cristal); daughter, Stephanie Mills (Chuck); grandchildren, Kenley Mills (Nicholas), Ray “RJ” Mills (Steph); and his twin sister, Carole Croxton (Bill); brothers, Robert G. “Buddy” Evans, and Thomas R. Evans (Beverly).

Bill was a faithful member of Beale Memorial Baptist Church. He was a Godly, loving, devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend. He was dedicated to supporting his community and serving his country as a Navy man.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, April 11, 2024 at 3:00 p.m. at Beale Memorial Baptist Church, Tappahannock. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be private. Faulkner Funeral Homes, Marks-Bristow Chapel, Tappahannock, Virginia is assisting the family with arrangements.
